The Center for Advocacy, Response and Education is recruiting applicants for the fourth year of the campuswide prevention program. Huskers CARE Peer Educators are paid during training and when facilitating Sexual Assault and Relationship Violence prevention workshops.
Successful applicants will participate in paid comprehensive training with CARE staff to help them gain an in-depth understanding of consent, sexual and relationship violence, university policies, and resources available on campus and in the community.
Undergraduate students of all majors are encouraged to apply.
"Being a peer educator has by far been the most important and impactful position I've held through the impact that we have on our campus and through my own personal development," said Josh McWilliams, a biochemistry major and Huskers CARE Peer Educator.
Interested students should apply online by March 28.
