UPC Nebraska will be hosting comedy magician Joel Meyers at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.

Combining sleight of hand and original routines with a larger-than-life personality and crowd-winning charm, Meyers specializes in taking audiences on what NBC calls “a roller coaster ride.” He’s an illusionist, mentalist and master of the stage who has appeared on "America’s Got Talent" and other television shows.

The comedy magician is presented by UPC Nebraska and will be part of the virtual 2020 Family Weekend. This event is free for University of Nebraska-Lincoln students with Event Pass. Students who wish to attend should register on NvolveU. Students unable to attend in person, parents and other members of the Nebraska community are encouraged to view the livestream of the event here.

To ensure the event is safe for all participants, COVID-19 mitigation measures will be in place at the Lied Center. Six-feet social distancing rules will be enforced, masks are required and hand sanitizer will be available at the event.
