Council for Resilience Education seeks new members

Council of Resilience Education members.

The Council for Resilience Education is seeking new members to be a part of the organization.

The council is looking for people who are interested in scientific education and communication.

CRE is a student organization that develops scientific education and communication tools for teaching socioecological resilience to students, teachers and the public.

Students who have been involved in the council in the past have developed board games to teach students about resource management, created podcasts featuring resilience experts from throughout the country, published academic articles on their communication and education work and also have connected with peers and professors throughout the world.

Upcoming meetings are from 10-11 a.m. Nov. 29 and Dec. 13. For more details, email cre@unl.edu
