HealthierU will be hosting a stress relief webinar at noon May 21, featuring Hannah Guenther, a Nebraska Extension educator. Visit the HealthierU website the day of the webinar to join the session.

Stress is a part of life, and we all experience it. Whether it’s a deadline at work, a family obligation or just the everyday pressures of modern living, stress shows up in big and small ways. But while stress may be unavoidable, staying stuck in it doesn’t have to be.

The session is designed to help you understand the real impact stress has on your mind and body, recognize your personal stress signals and learn how to “complete the stress cycle,” which is a crucial step in feeling better and regaining a sense of control.

You’ll explore a variety of evidence-based techniques, including simple movement, mindful breathing, laughter and meaningful connection. These aren’t complicated strategies; they’re practical tools that you can integrate into your day-to-day life, even on your busiest days.

One of the most empowering takeaways from this session is the reminder that managing stress isn’t about eliminating it altogether — it’s about learning how to move through it in a healthy, sustainable way. By the end of the webinar, you’ll have new tools in your toolbox to reduce stress, recharge your energy, and feel more centered and in control.
