The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Horticulture Club will host a spring bedding plant sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 4 and 5, and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 6 at the Teaching Greenhouse West on East Campus.
This year, the sale is in person only. Plants available include tomatoes, various herbs and flowering annuals such as marigolds, petunias and geraniums — scented and flowering. There are also beautiful mixed planters and hanging baskets including tomato and herb pots.
“All plants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early to snag your favorites,” Sarah Wulf, club president, said.
The Horticulture Club is a University of Nebraska Recognized Student Organization that connects students who have an interest in growing and caring for plants, are interested in a career in horticulture, and wish to engage with industry professionals. Plant sales are periodically held throughout the year to fund programming activities, student travel and facility improvements.
