Chancellor Ronnie Green is venturing out to experience campus life in a new “Green at…” video series. In his most recent adventure, Green visited the Horticulture Club and learned how students grow poinsettias in an East Campus greenhouse for an annual fundraiser.

The Horticulture Club will hold its poinsettia sale Dec. 5 in the Nebraska Union and Dec. 6 in Keim Hall. Both sales are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Poinsettias and prices are $5 for small plants; $12 for medium; and $18 for large. Holiday ivy plants will also be available for $5.

Learn more about the poinsettia sale.

The “Green at…” series launched in August with the chancellor assisting Nebraska Honors Program students as they moved into the Knoll Residential Center. The series has featured Green helping honors students move in; learning the ups and downs of flying drones; and driving a student-built Baja race car.
