Clean out the closets — or a local clothing outlet — to help collect winter coats for distribution to University of Nebraska–Lincoln international students with children.
As part of the Coats for Kids program, the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's International Student and Scholar Office is collecting new and gently used coats in sizes 2T to 12 years to help children of international students and scholars stay warm through the winter months. Items must be clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. Winter gear, such as hats, mittens, and scarves, will also be accepted.
All collected items will be available free-of-charge to new international students with children this autumn through the International Student and Scholar Office.
Items can be dropped off from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 8-11, at Louise Pound Hall, Suite 130, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 8-9 at Nebraska East Union, second Floor.
