The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host a festival celebrating Japanese culture on March 2.
The event, organized by the Japanese program in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, is 3:30 to 9 p.m. in the Nebraska Union. Activities, which are free and open to the public, include:
Bracelet Making Workshop, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Heritage Room
Voice Recital: Japanese Art Songs by Mia Shibahara, a soprano, 4:45 to 5:15 p.m., Heritage Room
Movie Screening: “When Marnie was There,” directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi, 7 to 9 p.m., Auditorium.
