Nebraska 4-H is among leaders in a national contest showing support of statewide 4-H programming. Voting is open through May 15.
Nebraska and Ohio are battling for the lead in a national campaign showing support for the hands-on learning experiences offered to youth through 4-H programs.
As of May 9, support for Nebraska 4-H led the Ohio program by 83 votes in the National 4-H Raise Your Hand competition. The three states with the most “hands raised” when the competition concludes on May 15 will win awards of $20,000, $10,000 and $5,000. The funds will be used for 4-H programming in each state.
Voting is available online. The contest is open to all supporters of 4-H programming.
