The University of Nebraska–Lincoln seeks nominations for the 2023 Chancellor’s “Fulfilling the Dream” Award.

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spent his life working to eliminate poverty, racism and militarism through nonviolent means. The university remains committed to diversity and the ideals espoused by King. This award was established in 1997 to honor individuals who have contributed to the university or Lincoln by promoting King’s goals and vision. The awards are presented each January in a ceremony during the university’s weeklong celebration of King.

Nominations may be submitted by any member of the university or community at large. They should be submitted by Nov. 25 here. The awards subcommittee will review the nominations and make recommendations for the final selections to the MLK Day Planning Committee and Chancellor Ronnie Green.
