
A new opportunity for leadership growth is coming to University of Nebraska–Lincoln employees this fall. The NSPIRE leadership development program is designed to cultivate essential leadership skills for supervisors and managers.
Open to all university employees and free of charge, NSPIRE kicks off this fall with four sessions and a 1.5-day immersive workshop. The schedule includes:
- Discover your Leadership Style, 8:30 to 11 a.m., Sept. 5;
- Helping Employees During Difficult Times, 8:30 to 11 a.m., Oct. 2;
- Building Trust & Engagement Workshop, 1 to 4 p.m., Oct. 15, and 8:30 to 4 p.m. Oct. 16 (lunch provided on day two);
- Leveraging Strengths to Navigate Change, 8:30 to 11 a.m. Nov. 7; and
- Leading Teams, 8:30 to 11 a.m., Dec. 5.
Whether you're a seasoned supervisor or exploring leadership for the first time, NSPIRE provides tools and insights to help you grow into the dynamic people leader you aspire to be. With supervisor approval, participants are welcome to attend any number of sessions.
