The Organizational Development and Training team released its 2024–25 Annual Report, showcasing the collective progress made with campus partners in fostering a culture of strong staff engagement, professional growth and effective leadership.
“What excites me about this report is that it represents meaningful progress in staff engagement, professional development and leadership growth for our staff. I'm excited about the momentum the ODT team is building and our shared commitment to investing in our people,” said Ben Lennander, assistant vice chancellor for human resources and chief people officer.
We thank everyone who has collaborated with us and invite all faculty and staff to join us in amplifying these efforts for the upcoming year.
Celebrating Our Collective Impact
The 2024–25 report highlights key achievements that reflect campus-wide participation and commitment:
- Broad Engagement: Over 1,750 staff members — representing 43% of all UNL staff — participated in at least one program. This significant number demonstrates a campus-wide hunger for development.
- Expanded All Staff Conference: By taking on the leadership of the All-Staff Conference, ODT successfully grew attendance from over 300 to more than 500 staff, strengthening connections across units.
- New Leadership Support: We launched NSPIRE, a new monthly series designed to strengthen the critical people-leadership skills of our supervisors and managers.
