The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has launched a national search for the executive director of the Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management.
The search advisory committee will be chaired by Carl Nelson, associate dean, College of Engineering and professor of mechanical and materials engineering. National executive search firm Summit Search Solutions will assist the committee with the search.
The Raikes School is one of the nation's top programs in interdisciplinary education, equipping students with the skills and perspectives needed to tackle complex business and technology challenges and drive innovation.
The executive director is responsible for leading the formulation and execution of strategic plans aimed at enhancing quality, reputation and impact, and fostering growth; cultivating and reinforcing relationships within the university and externally, seeking collaborative opportunities; securing financial support, and advancing the efficiency, effectiveness and sustainability of the school; and ensuring the provision and cultivation of an exceptional cutting-edge curriculum, faculty and staff to educate and support students. The position is also responsible for attracting, recruiting and retaining, and ensuring the success of outstanding students from around the globe.
