An exhibit featuring photographs from the Farm Security Administration era, is showing at the Sheldon Museum of Art during April.
A First Friday reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. April 7, as well as an original multimedia video piece about local photographer, Amanda Breitbach’s project “Land/People.”
The Farm Security Administration is best known for documenting people surviving the Great Depression and Dust Bowl.
The Daugherty Water for Food Institute at the University of Nebraska, which brought this exhibit to the Sheldon Museum of Art, works to address the global challenge of achieving food security with less stress on water resources through improved water management in agricultural and food systems.
