The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Staff Senate is offering two upcoming engagement opportunities in November: the next round of districtwide meetings to connect with representatives, and the monthly meeting, which will feature Dr. Jeffrey P. Gold, president of the University of Nebraska system.
District-wide meetings
The Staff Senate is continuing its commitment to broad staff engagement by holding another round of district-wide meetings. These sessions allow staff to connect directly with their elected senators.
To accommodate priority registration, District 3, Academic Colleges, will meet virtually 3 to 4 p.m. Nov. 17.
Other district meetings will be held 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Nov. 10 at the following locations or via Zoom:
- District 1: Business & Finance Link
- District 2: Chancellor Link
- District 4: Student Life in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center Ubuntu Room/202. Hybrid Link.
- District 5: Additional EVC's Offices Link
- District 6: IANR in the Nebraska East Union, Arbor A Hybrid Link
- District 7: Research in Whittier 152 Hybrid Link
- District 8: NU System Link
The district meetings are meant to ensure the voice of every staff member is heard. Staff are welcome to attend the meeting for their district to share feedback and learn about current Staff Senate initiatives.
Staff Senate meeting with President Gold
All staff are invited to attend the Staff Senate’s bimonthly meeting from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Nov. 13 in the Nebraska East Union, Great Plains A. The meeting will include an opportunity to hear from Gold, who will share updates and engage with the staff community.
To ensure the senate addresses the most relevant topics, staff are invited to submit questions for Gold no later than Nov. 7. The senate will review and consolidate all submissions for presentation during the discussion.
