The Symphonic Band performs Nov. 29 in Kimball Recital Hall.
The Symphonic Band, under the direction of Senior Lecturer and Associate Director of Bands Tony Falcone, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29 in Kimball Recital Hall.
The concert is free and open to the public. The concert will also be live webcast.
The concert is titled “Vistas,” and features conductor Falcone, along with Graduate Assistant Conductor Trevor Frost and Glenn Korff School of Music Lecturer of Tuba Bo Atlas.
“You’ll hear compositions by Philip Sparke, Viet Cuong, Michael Daugherty, Rossano Galante and Robert Buckley that have been inspired by scenic settings on a grand scale,” Falcone said.
The Symphonic Band is the Glenn Korff School of Music’s top symphonic ensemble.
