The Association of University Presses and the University of Nebraska Press are bringing the the 2024 Book, Jacket and Journal Show to the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

The exhibit opens March 24 and runs through April 4. The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be on view in Love Library North, Room 219.

Since 1965, the AUPresses Book, Jacket and Journal Show has honored the design and production teams whose work furthers a long tradition of excellence in book design. Through a traveling exhibit and acclaimed annual catalog of selected entries, the show visually teaches the tenets of good design. The Book, Jacket, and Journal Show is a juried design competition, open only to AUPresses member publishers, including the University of Nebraska Press. Each year, esteemed jurors review hundreds of submissions and select the very best examples of book, journal, and cover designs.

The 2024 show includes books published in 2023 by the University of Nebraska Press and other AUPresses member presses. The traveling exhibition will be hosted by member presses around the country from September 2024 through May 2025.
