The Department of Biochemistry and Redox Biology Center continues its 2015 seminar series with a Sept. 22 presentation by UNL’s Concetta DiRusso. The talk is 4 p.m. in the Beadle Center, room N172.
DiRusso, George Holmes University Professor of Biochemistry, will discuss “Anchored in Fat: Mechanisms to Resolve Diseases Caused by Malnourishment in Obesity and Starvation.” All talks in the series are free and open to the public.

Oct. 27, Shelley Copley, professor of molecular, cellular and developmental biology at University of Colorado, Boulder, “Promiscuity, Serendipity and Metabolic Innovation.”
