Global Studies is hosting Sinan Ciddi, a political scientist at Georgetown University, as part of their Global Café series at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 17 in the Georgian Suite of the Nebraska Union. All students and faculty are invited to attend.
Ciddi is the executive director for the Institute for Turkish Studies. Ciddi will give a presentation titled, “Why Turkey, Why Now?” The presentation will be followed by a discussion.
The primary goal of the Global Café lecture series is to informally bring together students from different majors, students curious about Global Studies and faculty to chat about world issues and get to know each other in a relaxed environment.
Fair Trade coffee and snacks will be provided by Meadowlark Café.
