Mueller Planetarium at Morrill Hall, south of 14th and Vine streets, will host a special day of five different fulldome shows May 28.
Visitors can preview two new shows to the planetarium: “Cosmic Adventure,” which takes viewers on a roller coaster ride from the moon through the solar system; and “From Earth to the Universe,” a voyage through sparkling sights and sounds revealing the universe through science.
The Fulldome Festival will also be the last time visitors can see “Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure.”
May 28 showtimes are:
11 a.m.: “Sesame Street: One World, One Sky”
Noon: “Cosmic Adventure”
1 p.m.: “Supervolcanoes”
2 p.m.: “Sea Monsters: A Prehistoric Adventure”
3 p.m.: “From Earth to the Universe”
Regular planetarium prices are $4 per show for an adult and $3 per show for a child, plus museum admission. Museum members pay $2.50 per show for an adult and $2 per show for a child, with ID card. Tickets will be sold at the front desk the day of the festival. Children ages 3 and under are not permitted in the planetarium.
