The third annual Nebraska Sustainability Roundtable is 5 to 8 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Nebraska union. The roundtable will include discussions led by UNL faculty and staff regarding water and food, waste, energy and campus sustainability. The event is designed to engage students with a diverse range of issues related to sustainability, and gather ideas students may have on furthering sustainability on campus. No previous knowledge regarding environmental sustainability is necessary. Students are encouraged to attend all or part of the event.
Free dinner will be provided by Chipolte, Raising Cane’s and Subway, with coffee from Medowlark Coffee.
Event organizers are also working with UNL Recycling to make the roundtable the university’s second Zero Waste event.
