NU Foundation seeks donations from faculty, staff

The University of Nebraska Foundation has launched a drive to solicit donations from UNL faculty and staff.

The drive, part of the foundation’s larger Campaign for Nebraska fundraiser, was announced in a flyer sent to faculty and staff. All funds collected via the faculty and staff drive will be used to support students, faculty and academic programs said Chancellor Harvey Perlman.

“Together, we have beaten the odds, moving the university forward despite tight budgets and strong competition,” Perlman said. “A great deal of our success is thanks to (faculty/staff) determination and sense of mission, and in many instances the changes and sacrifices you have endured.”

By donating to the NU Foundation campaign, faculty and staff can show additional support for UNL’s efforts to improve.

“Those of us at the university see first hand what gifts can accomplish,” Perlman said. “The fact that university faculty and staff are willing to contribute means a lot when we engage with other donors.”

Faculty and staff donors can choose a specific fund or donate to the Nebraska Legends Program. A complete list of available funds is available on the NU Foundation’s website
