Registration is open for the Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases fall symposium, which will be held Sept. 28 at the Sheldon Museum of Art.
Featured are four internationally renowned researchers in the area of obesity-related diseases. This will be a free, daylong event, but pre-registration is required.
The speakers will be Melinda Beck, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill; Bert Boyer, from the University of Alaska Fairbanks; Konstantin Gus Kousoulas, from Louisiana State University; and Catharine Ross, from Pennsylvania State University.
The day will conclude with a poster competition open to all graduate students and postdoctoral fellows.
