Symphonic Band recital is Dec. 14

The UNL Symphonic Band will explore more than 105 years of British wind band compositions in a 3 p.m. Dec. 14 performance in Kimball Hall. Tickets, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens.

Tony Falcone, senior lecturer, and James Dreiling, graduate teaching assistant, will conduct the performance. Chris Barnes, a graduate teaching assistant and euphonium soloist, will be featured.

Wind band music composers featured will include Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gustav Holst, Philip Sparke, Guy Woolfenden and Adam Gorb.

This is the second UNL Symphonic Band concert of the semester.
