The University Health Center’s department of Health Promotion and Outreach is hosting an event called “A Week of Love.” Four events will take place from Feb. 9-12.
On Feb. 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., go to the Nebraska Union Plaza for “Random Acts of Kindness” suggestions and free snacks.
Be sure to stop by the weekly free and confidential HIV test site at the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center from noon to 4 p.m. on Mondays.
Lisa Schulze of Planned Parenthood of the Heartland will host her workshop on female sexual pleasure and health, “Viva La Vulva,” at 7 p.m. Feb. 10 in the Nebraska Union’s Colonial, Room A.
Lastly, celebrate “International Quirkyalone Day” with the UHC and University Suites Senate from 7-9 p.m. Feb. 12 at the University Suites Multipurpose Room. Inspired by Sasha Cagen’s 2004 book, the event will include games, crafts and snacks to celebrate being at home with singledom.
