'UNL's Got Talent' is March 11

The skills of UNL students will take to the stage for “UNL’s Got Talent!,” a talent show that is 7 to 10 p.m. March 11 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.

The deadline to enter the event, sponsored by the No Kill Advocacy Group, a recognized student organization at UNL, is March 5. Registration is free. For more information contact Lizz Whitacre at ta.elizabeth@gmail.com or 952-693-8857.

Admission to the talent show is $5 per person and free for performers.

The No Kill Advocacy Club assists no-kill animal rescues by volunteering, fundraising, advertising and educating the public. The club has set a goal to make Lincoln a no-kill community by 2015.

“UNL’s Got Talent” will include local acapella groups along individual performers. The event will also offer free food and drinks.

Proceeds will benefit the Joining Forces Saving Lives and Progressive Animal Welfare Rescue. Joining Forces is a group in which focuses on bringing rescue groups and the public together for the benefit of animal welfare.
