Nebraska Innovation Campus is featured in the University of Nebraska Office Professionals Association’s spring workshop, 1:30 to 5 p.m. April 30 at the East Union.
Presenters include UNL’s Kate Engel and Shane Farritor. Engel, community engagement and operations manager for Nebraska Innovation Campus, will provide an overview of NIC, construction progress and future plans. Farritor, professor of engineering, will discuss efforts to create a makerspace at NIC.

Jennifer Dam Shewshuk, assistant director for Institutional Research and Planning, will discuss updates on campus.
Chuck Schroeder, executive director of the Rural Futures Institute, will talk about the institute’s current activities and goals.
Tom Field, director of the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program, will demonstrate the importance of entrepreneurship and innovation, and how both fit into work and personal lives.
The UNOPA workshop is free and open to the public.
