Nebraska's Memorial Stadium was built in the 1920s as a memorial to those who served in World War I. The university will celebrate a new WWI memorial in the stadium's east concourse on Nov. 11.

The color guard of the university's combined ROTC units participates in undergraduate commencement at Pinnacle Bank Arena on May 4. In observance of Veterans Day, the university will hold a roll call of all Nebraska veterans who have died in conflicts from World War I through today.
