Annual enrollment for the University of Nebraska system's NUFlex Benefits plan is open through Nov. 15. Employees can enroll, cancel or change coverage.
During this time, employees should view their current benefit selections, making changes where needed; enroll in flexible spending accounts; complete the health risk assessment; designate their tobacco/nicotine status; and, if necessary, call a customer service centers to learn about medical, dental and pharmacy plans.
Changes coming in 2025 include medical premiums increasing an average of $14 to $84 per month; the ability to carry over $640 of unspent Health Care Flexible Spending Account funds from 2024 to 2025; and access to a pre-diabetes reversal program with the university health insurance program, effective in the new year.
