Faculty and staff can access resources supporting student career readiness, mentorship and professional development through the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s membership in the National Association of Colleges and Employers.

The association connects professionals in higher education and industry to advance student career readiness and workforce engagement. Membership provides access to leading research, professional development programs and resources that align with university goals in mentorship, curriculum development and career preparation.

For more information or to activate a membership, contact Megan Becker.

Free resources available include research, on-demand and live webinars, curriculum tools and a national network of professionals.

By engaging with the association, faculty and staff can:

  • Stay informed on employer trends and hiring practices.
  • Access data and insights related to student career outcomes.
  • Integrate career readiness competencies into teaching and advising.
  • Join a national network of educators and industry professionals.

Career preparation and engagement is a strategic priority for the university. You can support this effort by encouraging students to participate in UNL’s Fall Career Fairs, which are happening this week. Students often cite faculty and staff as one of their top sources for learning about the fairs.
