University of Nebraska–Lincoln employees looking to expand their professional network and engage in valuable peer-to-peer learning now have a new, flexible opportunity, NCLUDE Networking Sessions. These events offer a dynamic alternative to the traditional, semester-long NCLUDE group commitment, providing an accessible way for all employees to foster community and enhance their skills.
While NCLUDE traditionally brings small groups together for six in-depth meetings over a semester, the new NCLUDE Networking Sessions are designed for those who may not have the availability for a long-term commitment but are still eager to build connections and learn from colleagues across campus.
Each 90-minute session will feature a unique blend of learning and connection:
- Informal Welcome (15 minutes): A chance to grab a refreshment and casually greet fellow attendees.
- Microlesson (15 minutes): A different university department/unit will lead a concise, engaging presentation on a topic within their area of expertise. These microlessons are crafted to spark thought and conversation, aligning with NCLUDE's mission to leverage diverse voices and promote a cognitive shift toward community building.
- Speed Networking (1 hour): Get ready to connect! This interactive segment, similar to "speed dating," will provide participants with opportunities to engage in focused, one-on-one conversations. Attendees will respond to engaging prompts related to the microlesson and broader themes of campus community, ensuring meaningful interactions and new connections.

"These NCLUDE Networking Sessions are a fantastic way to experience the benefits of NCLUDE in a more flexible format. You'll gain new insights and expand your network through our engaging speed networking."
