26 ROTC cadets receive military commissions

Twenty-six cadets in the UNL Reserve Officer Training Corps received military commissions in ceremonies May 9 and 10 at the Nebraska Union.

Ten cadets in Air Force ROTC were commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Air Force at 5 p.m. May 9; six cadets in Army ROTC were commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Army at 1 p.m. May 10; and 10 cadets in Navy ROTC received commissions at 1:30 p.m May 10, seven as ensigns in the U.S. Navy and three as second lieutenants in the U.S. Marine Corps.
